What’s Included in Your PADI Course

The essentials are prepared so your training feels clear from the start.

What is included depends on the course, but usually includes:

Diving equipment.
PADI Instructor guidance.
PADI eLearning when required.
Water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Snacks on board when applicable.
Towels.
Access to toilet, shower and power when the course uses Twin Spirit.
Taxes.

For Open Water courses, confined water training is done in a swimming pool at a guest house on La Digue.

Dive insurance is not included, so please make sure you have suitable cover before starting your course.

PADI eLearning Before You Get in the Water

For many PADI courses, the theory starts online before the practical training.

When PADI eLearning applies to your course, Trek Divers includes it as part of the course and signs you up after your booking is confirmed.

This helps you understand the basics before the practical training starts, so your time in the water feels clearer and easier to follow.

You can study at your own pace, then continue with your instructor when it is time to practise the skills.

Before We Confirm Your PADI Course

A simple booking process, with one important note about PADI eLearning.

For PADI courses, we do not usually ask for a deposit. Guests normally pay after their dives or at the end of their diving holiday.

The main exception is PADI eLearning. When eLearning is needed for your course, Trek Divers signs you up after your booking is confirmed.

Once PADI eLearning has been assigned, its cost is non refundable.

You can still use it later to complete the course with Trek Divers or with another PADI Dive Centre.

If you or Trek Divers need to cancel before the course starts and before eLearning has been assigned, nothing is due.

If sea conditions affect the open water part of your course, we’ll explain the options and adjust the plan when possible

Easy process, fast onboarding the boat, which was excellent ship. We were 3 groups with 3-5 divers / guide.  I attended on halfday/ 2 dive trip. Both dive gave sight on shark, seaturtle, rays, octopuss and of course a lot of strange and beutiful fish. Bring your GoPro!! Instructurs was professional, fun and have good feeling of saftey.

Sur le bateau tout est parfaitement organisé et vous n'avez qu'à vous laisser guider par les briefings d'avant plongée. You do not need to be an athlete, but you do need to be comfortable in the water and able to swim for beginner certification courses.

If you are unsure, tell us before booking so we can guide you properly.

No. Some PADI courses are for beginners, while others are for certified divers who want to build more experience, improve confidence or take a professional step.

That is why it helps to choose according to where you are now as a diver.

It depends on your current certification, experience and confidence level.

Tell us when you last dived and what course you are considering, and we’ll help you understand whether it makes sense to continue training or refresh your skills first.

You should not fly straight after diving.

As a general rule, leave at least 18 hours after multiple dives or several days of diving. If you can, allow 24 hours before flying.

Tell us your flight time before planning your course, so we can check if the schedule makes sense.
