Group Diving in La Digue, the Trek Divers Style

For a group, a good dive day depends on more than booking a private boat.

It depends on choosing dive sites with care, organising divers clearly and keeping the day easy to follow for everyone on board. Around La Digue, diving has its own character: granite formations, reef life, blue water and dive sites that can feel more natural and less obvious than many divers expect. At Trek Divers, we know the main sites, but we also keep exploring. We regularly explore new spots around the islands, and some of the places we dive are sites we are currently the only ones to visit. For your group, that means local knowledge, clear organisation and a dive day built with everyone in mind.

How We Organise Your Group Dive Day

A group dive plan works better when everyone knows the plan before the boat leaves.

We keep the process simple, so your divers know what to bring, where to meet and what kind of day we can organise.

1. Tell us about your divers

Send us your dates, number of divers and certification levels. Tell us if you are thinking about 2 dives, a full day or something more specific.

2. We check what makes sense

We look at Twin Spirit availability, timing and the kind of dive day you want. Then we tell you what can work for your group.

3. We prepare the boat setup

Win Spirit gives us room to organise divers, equipment, tanks and briefings properly. This helps the day feel clear before anyone gets in the water.

4.  We plan around the divers

Dive sites are chosen according to certification levels, safety and the day’s conditions. Requests are considered when they make sense for the group.

5.  Everyone dives with one clear plan

Your divers have Twin Spirit, prepared equipment if needed and enough room to move comfortably. This makes the day easier for the organiser, the divers and the crew.

6. We return without making it complicated

After the dives, the crew helps with the equipment, tanks and boat organisation. Your group can relax on the way back while we take care of everything.

Trek Divers, a Local Team That Knows How to Look After Divers

A group dive day feels different when the people on board understand divers, not just schedules.

You dive with a local team that knows La Digue, enjoys the water and pays attention to how each diver is feeling before the dive. We keep the atmosphere friendly and relaxed, while making sure the plan, the briefings and the safety stay clear. The idea is simple: divers looking after divers, so everyone feels ready, comfortable and in good hands before getting in the water.

What Divers Say After Diving With Trek Divers

Group diving is easier to plan when you know how other divers felt with the team.

We can explain how we organise the day, but other divers can tell you what it feels like to dive with Trek Divers in La Digue. Read what guests say about the crew, the boats and the way we look after divers.

Let’s Plan the Right Dive Experience for Your Group

Send us your dates, number of divers, certification levels and the kind of dive day you have in mind.

We’ll check what can work on Twin Spirit and help you organise the right group diving setup.

Before We Confirm Your Dive Day

For private group diving on Twin Spirit, we confirm the booking with a 30% deposit. This deposit secures Twin Spirit for your group and allows us to prepare the boat, crew, equipment and dive plan properly. If your group cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit is non-refundable.

If Trek Divers needs to cancel because sea conditions are not suitable, the amount paid is refunded in full. Twin Spirit can take up to 15 divers for private group diving, so the boat stays comfortable and not overcrowded. Before anything is confirmed, we’ll make sure your group knows the plan, what is included and which dive option you are booking: 2 dives or a 3-dive full day.

Questions Before Planning Your Group Dive Day

No. For Daily Dive Trips, we meet at our dive centre in La Passe.

Most guests move around La Digue by bicycle or walking. If you need transport, please arrange a taxi or golf buggy through your accommodation.

Yes. Tell us the certification levels and recent dive experience of the divers in your group.

This helps us plan the day properly and avoid putting everyone into a dive plan that only works for part of the group.

Send us your dates, number of divers, certification levels and whether you are thinking about 2 dives or a full day.

It also helps to know if you need rental equipment, if anyone is bringing their own gear and if there are non-diving companions.

Yes. If your group wants to dive over several days, tell us your available dates and what kind of diving you would like to do.

This helps us plan the experience better and avoid repeating the same type of dive whenever possible.

You can tell us what your group would like to do, especially if you have already dived around Praslin or another island.

The final choice still depends on the group level, safety and what makes sense on the day.

Let us know as soon as possible if the number of divers changes.

The quote, boat setup, equipment preparation and guide organisation may need to be adjusted.

If you are a small private group, Gypsie may be the better fit.

If you are organising a larger group of divers and need more space, equipment organisation and comfort on board, Twin Spirit usually makes more sense.

No. Your group should not fly straight after diving.

As a general rule, leave at least 12 hours after a single no-decompression dive and at least 18 hours after multiple dives or several days of diving. When in doubt, allow 24 hours.

Need a Different Plan for Your Group?

Some groups need a smaller, more flexible option or a regular dive trip instead.

If Twin Spirit is more than your group needs, one of these options may fit better.

A smaller private dive plan

f you are travelling as a couple, family or small group, Gypsie may be a better fit for a private dive experience. She is better suited to flexible plans, resort pick-ups and rendezvous dives around Seychelles.

Want a regular dive option instead?

If your group does not need Twin Spirit as a dedicated boat, our Daily Dive Trips may be a better fit. Join one of our regular boat dives from La Digue, with options for two morning dives or one afternoon dive when available.
